In 2017, in a sudden twist of fate, I found myself in the beautiful jungles of Bali, Indonesia where I completed a month long, intensive 200H YTT training, along with 30 other women from around the world.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from many different walks of life. I teach Chair Yoga to seniors, Yin and Restorative Yoga for people who have been injured and/or are healing their bodies and Hatha and Vinyasa for yogis looking to still the mind and strengthen the body.
For me, Yoga is so much more than just Asana (physical movement) – it is a way to connect with the SELF, as well as connect with those who are sharing the practice with me. It has been a beautiful community to be a part of.
Before becoming an instructor, I was a Social Worker, working with individuals battling Addiction and Mental Health. I worked at a treatment centre for women for over 10 years as well as housing case management and street outreach. My passion is and always will be to empower people to heal, learn and grow.
Yoga has been a beautiful teacher and I hope to be a forever student of the practice and be part of the journey of others in their growth and healing.
